About the Role

You’ll be the operational heartbeat of CampusHaul’s field execution. While our founder handles remote sales and strategy, you’ll manage crews, schedules, and day-to-day logistics. You’ll ensure every move runs smoothly, every crew is accountable, and every customer feels cared for. This role is built for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads with integrity, and sees the big picture.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily crew assignments, dispatching, and route coordination

Manage scheduling logic across multiple service zones and job types

Monitor crew performance, professionalism, and customer satisfaction

Troubleshoot field issues, delays, and customer escalations in real time

Maintain operational checklists, job confirmations, and post-move audits

Train and onboard new crew members to CampusHaul standards

Collaborate with HQ on service improvements, feedback loops, and expansion plans

Track KPIs and contribute to performance-based bonus logic

Serve as the “eyes and ears” on the ground—ensuring brand trust and operational integrity

Requirements


  • Pay Rate: $20 - $23 per hour

  • 2+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or field operations, especially in the moving or service industry, is preferred. This background provides an advantage in handling logistics, resource management, and service flow in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong leadership and crew management skills are crucial. The role requires inspiring and motivating teams, managing diverse personalities, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere with constructive feedback and recognition.

  • Tech fluency is essential. Candidates must be proficient with scheduling tools, mobile apps, and logistics software to streamline operations and enhance communication.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure is vital. Candidates should demonstrate decisiveness and a solutions-oriented mindset in high-stress situations to maintain service quality and team morale.

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to be on-site across various zones are necessary for prompt response and field operations oversight.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are paramount. The candidate must articulate ideas clearly and engage effectively with clients and team members.
