Cancellation Policy

CampusHaul Packing & Unpacking Service Policy 📋 Overview CampusHaul provides full-service packing and unpacking for students, families, and professionals across VA, NC, and MD. Our trained crews arrive with branded gear, protective materials, and the tools needed to safely pack, transport, and set up your belongings. This service may be booked as a standalone appointment or bundled with CampusHaul+ or Student Plans. ✅ What’s Included Full-service packing of boxes, furniture, and fragile items Professional wrapping with blankets, straps, and stretch film Disassembly and reassembly of beds, desks, and shelving Unpacking and setup at your new location Optional add-ons: fragile item prep, packing supplies drop-off, one-week storage Debris removal and post-move cleanup available as an add-on or bundled service ⏱️ Booking & Duration Minimum booking: 3 hours Maximum duration: 8 hours per day No truck required unless bundled with a move All bookings must be confirmed via CampusHaul’s website or approved by a team lead 💳 Payment Terms Full payment is due at time of booking or upon crew arrival Online deposit required to secure appointment (typically $150) Add-ons must be confirmed before service begins Refunds issued only for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance No partial refunds once service has started ⛔ Limitations & Exclusions CampusHaul does not pack or unpack: Hazardous materials (chemicals, flammables, batteries) Perishable food or liquids Weapons, ammunition, or valuables without prior approval Items requiring special permits or climate-controlled handling Attempting to include prohibited items may result in additional fees, job cancellation, or permanent suspension from CampusHaul services. 🧍 Crew Conduct & Safety All crew members are trained, uniformed, and insured Clients must ensure clear access to packing zones and safe workspaces Pets and children must be kept away from active work areas Any damages or concerns must be reported before crew departure 📦 Post-Service Responsibilities Crew will remove packing debris if add-on is selected Setup includes basic furniture placement and layout assistance Any CampusHaul gear used (wraps, pads, tools) will be removed Clients must inspect completed work before crew leaves 📞 Support & Escalation For billing issues, contact the CampusHaul billing team at the end of service For service concerns, reach out to your assigned team lead or email sales@campushaul.
